Fred Bothwell Setlist

Yep. THAT Fred, as seen on NBC's Last Comic Standing .

Now, don't go thinking I'm some "Johnny Come Lately" to the whole Fred scene. Fred and I performed a sketch to a Carpenters song at The Velveeta Room here in Austin over ten years ago.

Fred is seriously a comic genius, along the lines of Andy Kaufman. I've seen him do some hilarious sets. When he keeps his focus, he is one of the people who can make me laugh the most.

Unfortunately, it's hard for Fred to keep his focus - especially when everyone yells at him to "TAKE OFF YOUR SHIRT" and then after he takes his shirt off, "TAKE OFF YOUR SWEATER" (ok, goddammit, it WAS funny the first couple of times).
